Summer Camp information for the Baltimore School or Rock Branch

Dates:

Session 1: July 7th through July 18th, 2008
Session 2: August 4th through August 15th, 2008

Give your kids the gift of rock! Our two week summer camp sessions will build their skills develop a passion for playing that can last a lifetime. During these full-day programs (9am to 3pm), your kids will:

“Speed-learn” song parts to a new song each day.

Rehearse with their band to perfect song parts.

Perform for school members and staff daily.

Write original music, including song structure, lyrics, melody and harmony, chord progressions, and individual instrument parts.

Record music “studio live” with overdubbing.

Begin learning a secondary instrument, and perform with it.

Work with local artists on performance, song-writing, and stage-craft.

Perform original and cover songs in a final concert for family and friends.
