Eddie Everett Drum Instructor / Show Director
Eddie loves music. He tries to play drums
every day, whether it be with one of his bands or sitting in at an open mic. He consistantly strives to become a better musician. Eddie has performed with Brian Setzer, The Legendary Shackshakers, Tommy Conwell, David Bromberg and a host of others . He will be going to Norway in June to play with The Rockats and can't wait! Music, drums, and teaching are his life.
Curt Peoples Guitar/Bass Instructor / Show Director
Curt Peoples, a.k.a. "Curt Ritchie" has been playing for 34 years. He played many clubs with many different bands from the late 70's through the late 80's. He has been linked to
Cinderella by some as he did play with Tom Keifer & Tom Brittingham but never actually played IN Cinderella. Through the 90's he played and co-wrote many songs with Rare Breed. Curt is currently teaching at the PGSORM
as well as playing with his church band. He teaches , directs and serves to help elevate the overall understanding of the business of live production and entertainment.
Ricardo Lagomasino Drum Instructor
Philadelphia-based drummer, Ricardo Lagomasino, has been playing music since the age of ten. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, where he studied with Billy Hart, Jamey Haddad, and Michael Rosen. While a student, he had the opportunity to play in bands led by Joe Chambers, Roscoe Mitchell, Wendell Logan, Marcus Belgrave, and soundpainter Walter Thompson. He is currently playing with Capillary Action, Joe Lally (Fugazi), and The Future Has A Silver Lining.
Jake Jones Bass Instructor
Jake has been playing bass for most of his life. His first influence was his dad and later he studied with some great teachers ie. Dave LaRue (of The Dixie Dregs, Steve Morse Band), Mike Richmond (of Miles Davis, Stan Getz, Hubert Laws, Jack DeJohnette) and James Kelly (of The New England Conservatory). When he started out in High School, he was fortunate enough to tour with Motown Legends and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Martha Reeves & TheVandellas. Since then, Jake has performed with other greats like Rick James, The Spinners , Stanley Clarke, Keisha Brown, and more. He also worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a contract musician. Currently, Jake holds an Associates Degree in Jazz Performance from Mercer County College and a BA in Music from Rutgers University. He regularly performs in and around the tri-state area with various artists playing an array of genres like Rock, Blues, Funk, R&B, Reggae and Jazz. John Dubitsky Guitar/Bass Instructor
John is a graduate of Berklee College of Music where he studied composition, theory, and, of course, guitar. With experience recording, relasing CDs, and touring around the country, John brings his real-world knowledge and top-quality education along with some cool guitars to his lessons.
Alan Ens Guitar/Bass Instructor
Alan Ens is a guitar player, singer and composer who is actively doing those things in the philadelphia music scene. He leads his own pop-prog-rock group the Tongue Sculptors and is involved in various other rock, jazz, folk, and beyond type projects. He is interested developing students strengths and challenging them to stretch out into new territory. He has his BA in jazz guitar performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where hes studied with, and had lessons from Pat Martino, Tony Micelli, Steve Beskrone (Ray Charles), Steve Giordano, Vic Juris, and many other great players.
Vince Federici Guitar/Bass Instructor
Vincent Federici is a 27 year old guitarist from South Philadelphia with a BA from the jazz program at the University of the Arts. Self taught until college, he has been fortunate enough to be taught by jazz masters Michael Kennedy, Michael Quaile, and Monette Sudler on guitar and general music theory by Tony Miceli, Jim Paxon, Jeff Kern, Ron Kerber, and Norman David. Vince also had master lessons with Philly greats Pat Martino and Jimmy Bruno. While in school he participated in master classes with jazz legends Jimmy Cobb, Joe Lovano, George Garzone, McCoy Tyner, and Airto Moriera. Vince is a highly active performer in the Philadelphia area and plays in groups including folk, rock, soul, jazz, cabaret, and bossa nova; the last to which he has given extensive personal study. He also has volumes of knowledge on American Rock and Roll with emphasis on The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
He can be seen on stage with party band Formerly Known As (www.myspace.com/bandformerlyknownas), a heavy folk group called The Bailey Hounds (www.myspace.com/thebaileyhounds), and cabaret extravaganza The Lefty Lucy Cabaret, a huge hit at The Philly Fringe Festival this year.
