Carlson's time at School of Rock helped her recruit most of her current bandmates. It spurred her to apply to Berklee which, unlike other colleges that offer music majors geared mainly toward classical and jazz, offered the opportunity to train as a well-rounded musician.

Please Join the AllStars and me for a once in lifetime opportunity. We are allowing a limited number of people to come and watch the rehearsal with Mike Peters and the School of Rock kids at the Enlow Recital Hall - an absolutely beautiful theater at Kean University in Hillside, NJ. We will be recording a version of Love Hope and Strength and want you all to be on the recording. All proceeds will benefit the Love Hope and Strength Charity. Please join us for this special night.
