Back to school ... Sucks to be you!
It's ok, we still love you all even though you have to spend TWENTY Percent of your weekdays in school (not considering after-school activities ... like detention.)
Suffice to say, spend all your time here! We're open at 2 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and from 12-3 on Saturdays where we don't need people to do anything BUT come here and use the place!
Waste our electricity! We don't care!

The First Annual "Rock for the Cure" is being held at the SportsPlex @ Coral Springs, 2575 SportsPlex Drive on Saturday, May 31st. The Paul Green School of Rock Music - Coral Springs will kick off the all-day, outdoor music event with a special performance of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" followed by 12 local bands including nationally touring headliner and Ft. Lauderdale's own And Then There Was You (Indianola Records).
GRAD SCHOOL - YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD TO ROCK & ROLL!
Have you always wanted to learn to play the guitar, bass, keyboards, or drums, but felt is was too late? Or has your musical instrument been gathering dust because of the craziness of daily life and your "'real job"? Or are you a "weekend warrior" who would like to gain some new musical skills and knowledge, as well as some new friends and musical contacts? Have you ever wanted to play a big rock show at a MAJOR club?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, the new Grad School program at the Paul Green School of Rock Music is for you.
This twelve week program will help you gain new musical skill in both private lesson and group settings. You will learn from experienced teachers who are all working musicians, and they'll help you gain real-world knowledge, new musical skills, and contacts that can help you start or resurrect, or enhance your musical pursuits.
Here's how the program works:
The program begins with an orientation meeting, followed by four weekly private lessons. These lessons will help you get up and running on your instrument, or will help you get to the next level, so that you can bring your new skills to the remainder of the program.
Starting in the fifth week, all participants will meet for a weekly rehearsal. Songs will be selected for you, and you will be divided up into various bands. Rehearsals will be interactive with a lot of guidance and participation by the instructors. So you'll continue to have help during the group rehearsals.
At the end of the program, you will be in a real rock show at one of Ft. Lauderdale's premiere live music venues. This will be a great time to show off your skills, get some performance experience on a great stage, and just have a great time.
The cost of the program is $1195, but parents of School of Rock students receive a discounted rate of $995.
