Great start to the tour - kids opened up very strong. Great version of "Time" to open the show (Tim Hidalgo very strong on vocals and the Gilmour
lead!), then a great "Pictures of a City" to follow. Steve Perry from Journey was in attendance and seemed to be greatly enjoying the show,
especially when they whipped out a couple of Journey songs at the end for him. Carolyn Pagnotta and Courtney Cox stole the show on "Don't Stop
Believing". I'll try to get some pictures up, but having some technical issue around FTP.........
Off to Agoura Hills today, San Fran tomorrow!

OK - latest missive from the road. The kids have been playing their collective behinds off, as the pictures below will show. Each night has been a
different set list, with new tunes being tried each night. Some are truly wonderful - last night's rendition of 'Stonehenge' was absolutely
hilarious (no photos yet....), 'Big Swifty', 'Material Girl', 'Time Warp' are all really successful.
My apologies if I'm not showing all the kids in the pictures - let me know if you want to see someone I haven't shown yet. I'm trying, and I'm
sure I have shots of them......
Stay cool - you probably don't want to hear this, but the weather here has been absolutely gorgeous!
See you all soon,
Tim Hooper & Valentine Guzman
Here's the group on Twin Peaks overlooking San Francisco on our day off

These shots are from the Wow Hall in Eugene, OR

These shots are from the Oaks Amusement Park in Portland, OR

OK - we got a picture of 'Stonehenge' from last night's show at the Aladdin Theater in Portland, along with one of mine of David with the
Stonehenge thingy he built and brought with him!

Hey folks!
We're now in Boise, ID, and heading out to Salt Lake City today. Since the last post, they've played at Chop Suey in Seattle (there's a very cool
review elsewhere on this forum by a new friend of the SOR who saw the show!), and last night at The Venue, a neat all-ages club in Boise. The bad
news was that when we got to Spokane on Friday, we found that the gig had been cancelled. Real shame, as it was an awesome room, but the manager
kindly let us in to use the room and have a rehearsal, and they also laid on some food for the kids. The gigs are going really well - new tunes are
being rolled out each night, and the list of songs I wished they could have played but didn't have time for gets longer every night!
Here's some photos from the last two gigs - first at Chop Suey in Seattle:
Tim Hidalgo looking sharp in a new shirt (not sure which tune, to be honest - I think it's "Marquee Moon")

Courtney & CJ crunching on "Orion"

Foster tearing up "The Real Me"

Eric, Bosco & Gina dancing on "YYZ"

And here's some from The Venue in Boise:
Rachel & Caroline opening with "Love Lies Bleeding"

Dave doing his best Michael Jackson on "I Want You Back"

Jake Hager wailing on "Magic Man"

Rachel & the All-Star Horns on "Shining Star" (one of my favorites!)

Caroline leading them in "Synchronicity"
