School of Rock is perfect for beginning musicians and intermediate and advanced musicians, too. School of Rock works to develop each student's skills to be stage-ready for performance.

What does School of Rock teach?

School of Rock teaches guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard + piano, and singing. What sets School of Rock apart from traditional music lessons is our Method™, which combines one-on-one instruction with group rehearsals and live performances, teaching students how to play together as a band.

How do School of Rock lessons and rehearsals fit into our busy After school schedule?

One-on-One Lessons: We offer a variety of weekday afternoon and evening time slots, allowing you to secure a consistent weekly time that works around homework, sports, and family dinners.

Group Rehearsals: Our band rehearsals are scheduled during fixed late-afternoon or evening blocks, making it easy to plan your week in advance.
Think of it less as "another obligation" and more as the ultimate after-school brain break. Trading test anxiety for a killer guitar riff is the perfect way to unwind.

With a heavy homework load this school year, how much time will my child need to dedicate to practicing their instrument at home?

Our School of Rock Method App makes it easy. We don't just tell them to "go practice." Our proprietary app houses their specific lesson notes, song charts, and backing tracks. It makes practicing efficient, structured, and entirely self-guided (meaning zero parental hovering required).

Instrument practice is a great mental reset button between homework subjects. Smashing out a drum fill or mastering a bass line for 15 minutes is a killer way to clear the mind before diving back into history or math.
