CAMP DESCRIPTION

Through this special 5-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs! Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance. This music camp is great for students 9-18 years old who have had previous instruction. Limited spots.

Weekly Schedule

• As our songwriters finish crafting their compositions mid-week the Recording & Production campers will help them record their songs
• On Friday at 1pm, campers will present their finished songs and leave with a finished recording to take home!
• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
• Drop off is no earlier than 10 minutes before the start of camp
• Pick up is no later than 10 minutes after camp

What to Bring?

• Campers must bring their own lunch each day
• Campers are welcome to bring their own instruments
• Campers must bring their own hearing protection (available for purchase)

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

Cancellation Policy

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
