Workshop description
In this workshop, students will build a band from the ground up. They will combine their musical interests, write music, come up with a band name, make T-shirts, do a photo shoot, and learn about the music industry from our professional staff of working musicians. Writing music on your own is one thing, coming together with other musicians, learning how to blend genre tastes to form something exciting and new is another. Students who complete this one day workshop will gain the knowledge and skill to start a band of their own.
SCHEDULE
- Workshop runs Monday, August 17, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thank you for choosing School of Rock!
“Every summer my child declares that his week at School of Rock camp was the best week of his summer. This year, he said that Green Day camp was his favorite by far. Knowing how much he enjoys SoR Andersonville camp, my youngest tried Rookies camp and also had a phenomenal experience. Thank you for creating a wonderful way for young people to create together.” Elizabeth W
