Fright Fest Gets a Live Soundtrack

The rides are haunted, the fog is rolling in, and on Friday, October 30, Elitch Gardens gets a live Halloween soundtrack. The School of Rock Aurora/DTC House Band is taking over Fright Fest with a two-hour set of live music in the heart of Denver.

Everyone on that stage is a student. The House Band is made up of School of Rock musicians who have spent the whole season at the school learning these songs, tightening every riff and chorus, and getting ready to play for a real crowd. This isn't a recital. It's a full student rock band on a big stage, playing the songs you know as loud as the night calls for.

School of Rock Aurora/DTC is an extracurricular, performance-based music school with programs for students ages 4 through adult. Instead of practicing alone, our students learn by playing together in bands and performing live, all over the Denver metro area. Kids picking up instruments and playing in front of a crowd is how rock and roll stays alive. It happens in our hometown and at School of Rock stages around the world, and this is the future of music.

Bring your costume and your crew, and come see the show. If your kid walks away wanting to be up there next time, book a free trial lesson. Music lessons in Aurora and Denver start at School of Rock, the kids music school where students get on real stages.
