The 2026 House Band Tour
This summer, the House Bands from School of Rock Aurora/DTC, Metairie/New Orleans, and Northshore came together for something bigger than any one school — a five-city, six-show tour across the South.
Over six days in July, our students loaded in, soundchecked, and took the stage at some of the region's best-known rooms: Workplace Theatre in Birmingham, the legendary Exit/In in Nashville, the one-of-a-kind underground stage at The Caverns in Pelham, back-to-back nights at The Signal in Chattanooga, and Center Stage in Atlanta.
This is what School of Rock is built on. Not practicing alone in a room — playing live, in a real band, in front of real crowds. Our House Band members earned every one of those stages. They put in the rehearsals, made the long drives between cities, and backed each other up night after night. They left as students from three different schools and came home as one band, with friendships and memories that will outlast the summer.
The tour is over, but the next one is already on the horizon. Every House Band member started with a single lesson — and a program is where it begins.
