CAMP DESCRIPTION

Step into the grunge era and channel your inner Cobain in this immersive Nirvana-themed 5-day performance camp!
Students will dive deep into the raw power, emotion, and simplicity that made Nirvana a generation-defining band. Through hands-on instruction, rehearsals, and collaboration, campers will learn the essentials of grunge tone, stage energy, and songwriting, all leading up to a live performance for family and friends at the end of the week. From “Smells Like Teen Spirit” to “Come As You Are,” we’ll explore Nirvana’s biggest hits, hidden gems, and the garage-band spirit that shaped 90s rock.

Please note: We do ask that campers have some experience in their instrument and have some fundamentals down so that we can ensure that the camp week is fun for everyone!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm each day
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week! 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• A 100% refund on camps canceled more than 60 days prior to camp start date.
• A 50% refund on camps canceled 15-60 days prior to the camp start date.
• Cancellations within 14 days of the camp start date are not eligible for a refund.
