DESCRIPTION
Often credited as the pioneers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath’s dark riffs, haunting melodies, and powerful lyrics reshaped the sound of rock music. In this camp, students will explore the music and legacy of Black Sabbath, learning songs that defined their groundbreaking style. Throughout the week, campers will dive into the band’s history and stagecraft, capturing the energy and intensity of their performances. The week concludes with a live show featuring the songs they’ve learned. Great for students 8–18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 3.30pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
