DESCRIPTION
Emerging from Seattle in the late 80s, Grunge fused raw emotion, heavy guitar riffs, and unfiltered lyrics to create a sound that defined a generation. In this music camp, students will explore songs by artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Mudhoney. Throughout the week, campers will dive into the music, history, and attitude that shaped the grunge movement, learning to capture its gritty energy on stage. The week concludes with a live performance showcasing what they’ve learned. Great for students 8–18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 3.30pm each day
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
