About the Camp

Want to play in a band on stage? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through group lessons, group band rehearsal, individual practice time, and other musical camp games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Friday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

weekly schedule

• Rock 101 Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm each day
• Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

What to Bring?

• Campers bring their own lunch+snacks each day
• Guitar & Bass players should bring their own instrument if they own one
• Guitar & Bass players should bring a strap, picks, pack of extra strings, and guitar case
• Vocalists can bring their own microphone if they own one
• Drummers bring at least 1 pair of own drumsticks
• Campers should bring their own hearing protection

If your student doesn't have their own instrument don't worry! Rock 101 is a beginner camp so most students are new to their instrument and can use our school-owned guitars during camp week. what to expect

• Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
• At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
• On the last day of camp lunch is provided. Students enjoy a pizza party before taking the stage for their camp show!
