About This Camp
Our one-week Summer Festival Rock Music camp is an immersive experience where aspiring musicians form bands, rehearse daily, receive music instruction and learn from gigging musicians. Campers will rehearse to ultimately perform in a live concert for family and friends. The experience focuses heavily on teamwork, skill development, and stage presence in a high-energy, creative environment.
One of the main attractions of summer music festivals is their variety of entertainment and their exploration of multiple music subgenres including rock, alternative and pop. In this camp, students will learn to play songs by legendary festival artists such as Foo Fighters and The Killers. They will also have a chance to learn about up-and-coming artists as well as more modern favorites from the 2000's and beyond.
Think "Shakey Knees" meets "Lollapalooza" with a touch of "Coachella." This is sure to be a one-of-a-kind musical experience you won't want to miss!
Schedule
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm each day
- Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of camp
- Pick up is no later than 5 minutes after camp
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
Friday Performance
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends by performing the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week. The show will take place at School of Rock Buckhead. Parents, guardians and family members are welcome to attend the end of camp performance, the event is free of charge.
What to Bring?
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day.
- Please make sure your student wears clothing and footwear suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities.
- Students are expected to bring their own instruments needed for the duration of the camp. We can supply instruments if needed.
- Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
- Campers must bring their own hearing protection (available for purchase)

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to 15 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the start of camp. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a camp for any reason (such as not enough campers), a full refund will be provided.
