SACRAMENTO, Calif. — School of Rock is bringing the next generation of Sacramento-area rock and metal musicians to TitanFest, with House Bands from School of Rock Folsom, School of Rock Roseville and School of Rock Carmichael performing at the festival's Day Zero kickoff on Friday, September 4 at 6 p.m. at LogOff Brewing in Rancho Cordova.
The special performance brings together some of School of Rock's top student musicians for an evening celebrating heavy metal, hard rock and live music in Sacramento.
School of Rock's House Band program features advanced student musicians selected to represent their schools at community events, festivals and special performances throughout the year. House Band students perform on real stages throughout Northern California and beyond, gaining experience that goes far beyond traditional private music lessons.
Sacramento's Next Generation of Metal Musicians
For young musicians who love metal, classic rock, punk, alternative and hard rock, School of Rock offers the opportunity to do more than learn songs in a lesson room. Students learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals while rehearsing and performing as part of a band.
The September 4 TitanFest performance will feature House Band musicians representing three Sacramento-area School of Rock locations:
School of Rock Carmichael
School of Rock Folsom
School of Rock Roseville
Together, the bands will help kick off a full weekend dedicated to metal music and the Sacramento-area metal community.
From Music Lessons to the Live Stage
School of Rock's performance-based approach combines individual music instruction with band rehearsals and live performances. Students develop musicianship while learning how to rehearse with other musicians, perform for an audience and become confident on stage.
For Sacramento-area families searching for guitar lessons, drum lessons, bass lessons, keyboard lessons, vocal lessons or rock and metal music programs for kids and teens, School of Rock offers programs for beginning through advanced musicians.
In addition to Carmichael, Folsom and Roseville, the Sacramento-area School of Rock community includes School of Rock Elk Grove and School of Rock Land Park, creating opportunities for young musicians throughout the greater Sacramento region to learn, perform and connect with other students who share their love of music.
