Dear School of Rock Community,

With the continued growth of School of Rock Cedar Park, we are happy to announce the following staff promotions effective immediately:

Ashton Shelton - Assistant Music Director, Music Programming

Ashton will lead the school's core music programming, including Performance, Rock 101, Adult Program and Summer Camps. In this role, Ashton will oversee program and song selection, student casting and end-to-end season performances. Ashton will continue to also carry a teaching load on Guitar, Keys and Vocals.

Jacob Dodd - Assistant Music Director, Music Operations

Jacob will direct-line manage instructor staff, including overseeing instructor training, performance, and student development. He will also oversee implementation of School of Rock's Method® curriculum and lead special programs, such as House Band, AllStars, Songwriting and Recording and Production. Jacob will continue to also carry a teaching load on Guitar.

James Tesch - Program Manager

James will lead our pre-school programs, including Little Wing and Rookies. He'll be responsible for implementing School of Rock's curriculum for the these early music programs, as well as lead instruction of weekly classes. James will also be responsible for identifying students ready to take the next step into individual lessons or our Rock 101 program.

Kate Magierski - Assistant Manager

Kate is being promoted from Studio Coordinator to the school's Assistant Manager. In this role, she will serve as the school's weekend manager, as well as backup to school Manager, Geneva Hitzel. She will also take on added responsibilities for marketing outreach and school events.
