When Broward County Public school is closed for the day, then it’s time to do what you really want to do: spend your day playing and learning music at School of Rock! We’ll spend the day with a multitude of activities all based around Foo Fighters and their album The Color and the Shape. This is the album with such hits as “Everlong”, “Monkey Wrench”, and “My Hero”. The students will be separated into groups to work on learning songs from the album and practice how Foo FIghters performed. We’ll learn about the history of the band and how their album firmly established Dave Grohl’s new chapter in rock! Great for students 7-17 years of age and all skill levels.
