ABOUT THIS CAMP
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.
SCHEDULE
Camp runs Monday through Friday 9 am- 12 pm each day
Drop off begins at 8:45 am each day
Pick up is no later than 12:30 pm each day
Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
FRIDAY PERFORMANCE
On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they have been working on all week. The show will take place at the school at 12 pm. We will be providing more details about the show on the first day of camp.
WHAT TO BRING
Campers must bring their own snacks and water bottle each day.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students are not permitted to leave the facility at ANY time on their own, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end of camp.
A fully completed and signed waiver is required in order to attend and participate in programs at School of Rock.
After registering for camp, please sign the required waivers on the School of Rock client portal - Pike13, which you can access from your confirmation email.
BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
In order to run an awesome, fun, and educational camp, we need all the kids to listen super well WHILE having fun! If your child causes a disruption for other campers, they may be removed from the camp.
LOCATION
We are located at 6900 Daniels Parkway, suite 39, 33912. Google/Apple maps sometimes routes people to the wrong end of the plaza - if you end up by Duck Donuts or 3 Pepper Burrito, you are on the wrong side! Go around the Publix parking lot to the other end of the plaza and you will see the School of Rock sign.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 2 weeks in advance will be allowed to move to a different camp over the summer. We do not provide refunds for any reason once camps are purchased. Please contact our General Manager, Brigid Harris, at bharris@schoolofrock.com for any questions or scheduling issues.
