Through this special 5-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs. Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements, and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10 am - 3 pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities.
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
