About the midseason festival
At the halfway point of every season, we want to give students the opportunity to get on stage and try out their first phase songs. We also want students to have the chance to see other shows, experience other styles of music and cheer on their friends. If you're new to School of Rock Katy, have a student in our Little Wing or Rookies class, this is a great way to see the Road to Rock, especially when the School of Rock House Band takes the stage - many of these amazing players started in Rock 101!
Staff Infection, our incredible staff band, also prepares a preview set for the upcoming season! See your student's instructor take the stage while we flex on the kids and have a great time playing music together. We're not just previewing the music - you can sign up for your Spring 2027 Show right there at BFE Rock Club!
This is an all-day celebration with live music, food, drinks and community. We don't want you to just come for your child's set; we want you to stay for the day and celebrate all that School of Rock Katy does. We hope you join us!
If you have a kid that loves music but who will get bored sitting in a formal music class, this is the place for you. They learn while having fun! - Denise J
New to school of rock?
At School of Rock, we turn music lessons into something unforgettable. Our patented, performance-based approach gets students playing real songs in real bands - right from the start.
Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or getting back into music after a break, we don't just teach notes - we teach you how to rock on stage and in life. At School of Rock Katy, students grow as musicians and as people, building creativity, stage presence, and life skills in a fun, supportive environment.
