80s rock camp
The 80s brought us a wave of new sounds and music genres, and produced hits that still rock the airwaves today. In this music camp, we'll perform hits from artists like Billy Idol, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, Van Halen, Flock of Seagulls, and many more. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and practicing 80s songs, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
weekly schedule
- Camp runs Monday - Thursday, 9am - 3pm each day, and 9am - 1pm on Friday!
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
what to expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
