camp description
Green day was one of the most popular and influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Their fun, high-energy music helped bring punk into the mainstream. Throughout this 5-day music camp, we'll explore hits from some of their most popular albums, such as "Dookie," "Warning," "Insomnica," "American Idiot" and beyond. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
weekly schedule
- Camp runs Monday - Thursday, 9am - 3pm each day, and 9am - 1pm on Friday!
- Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
what to expect
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
"Every time you walk in, you can tell everyone loves what they are doing. The staff members are mentors that the students look up to. They have taught my daughter so much about music, how to play instruments and given her the courage to get on stage in front of an audience and sing!" - Parent, Kingwood, TX.
