Camp Description
Campers will learn the music of 60s and 70s rock icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones in our Classic Rock Rewind summer camp. In addition to songs, students will learn about rock history and the stagecraft needed to perform on a stage. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based game & activities
- On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection. At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
Summer camp gave a fun, creative space for my son to enjoy! It held his attention for 6 hours each day for a week and then ended in a fun rock concert where the band was able to show what they accomplished! Special thanks to the instructors for providing a wonderful opportunity.
