Want to play in a band on stage? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 7-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians. Students will work on songs Monday through Thursday and the camp will culminate in a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

  • Camp runs Monday -Thursday, 9 am - 3 pm each day
  • Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time, and fun music-based games and activities
  • On Thursday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO BRING

  • Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) lunch, snacks, and a water bottled labeled with their name each day.
  • Students are encouraged to bring their own guitars and basses needed for the duration of the camp if possible. We supply other instruments (drums, keyboard) here in the studio! Loaner guitars may be available by request.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
