SEE OUR ROCK 101 AND OPENING ACT STUDENTS ROCK THE STAGE FOR THEIR VERY FIRST PERFORMANCES
ROCK 101
Rock 101 is one of School of Rock Princeton's top programs for kids and beginners. Students have one weekly group rehearsal where they learn to play classic rock songs that have been simplified for beginner musicians. Additionally, Rock 101 students in Princeton have a weekly private music lesson with an instructor who helps them learn the concepts and skills behind their performance songs.
OPENING ACT
Opening Act at School of Rock Princeton is where young musicians begin their journey. It is designed for beginners ages 13 to 18 who are ready to learn, play, and grow through music. Each week students take one private lesson focused on building skills and confidence, and one group rehearsal where they learn songs together as a band. Our instructors teach guitar, bass, drums, vocals, and keys, helping students explore their creativity while gaining real performance experience. The program helps teens grow musically and personally, developing teamwork, patience, and self-expression along the way.
