CAMP DESCRIPTION

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This five-day camp runs Monday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.

What to Expect:

• Introduction to Music Basics – Campers will explore different instruments like keyboards, drums, guitar, and their own voices, learning foundational skills through fun, interactive games.
• Sing & Play Popular Hits – Kids will sing and move to songs, developing confidence and stage presence.
• Rhythm & Coordination Activities – Through engaging musical exercises, campers will build rhythm and timing while having a blast.
• Creative Expression – Campers will get crafty with music inspired activities, from designing their own stage outfits to creating themed artwork.
• Mini Performance – At the end of the week, campers will showcase their newfound skills in a fun, low-pressure performance for family and friends!

No Experience Needed!
This camp is perfect for young beginners—no prior musical experience required! Our supportive instructors will guide each camper as they sing, play, and dance their way through music.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 1pm each day
• Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
• On Friday, campers will play along with track and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the camp!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
