In this workshop you'll trace your signal from the moment it leaves your pickups all the way to the speaker — every cable, pedal, and control in between. We'll break down the difference between overdrive, distortion, and fuzz, dig into modulation and time-based effects, and demystify the amp controls that most players just guess at: gain, EQ, presence, and master volume. The session is hands-on throughout, with real A/B tone comparisons on actual gear so you can hear the difference, not just read about it. By the end you'll have built your own signal chain from scratch. Students are encouraged to bring their own guitar or bass and one pedal they already own.
