About this camp
Want to play in a band with friends? Our Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 8-12 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their instruments through musical games and activities. Our nurturing environment makes this the perfect camp for budding musicians.
SCHEDULE
Camp runs Monday through Friday 8:30am - 12:00pm each day
Drop off is no earlier than 8:30am each day
Pick up is no later than 12:05pm each day (if registering for both morning and afternoon sessions, pick up is after the afternoon session)
Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games/activities
RAMP TO CAMP Program
Ramp to Camp is an optional program designed to help new campers feel confident and prepared for camp. It includes four, 30 minute one on one sessions with an instructor.
Students will:
- Learn the basics of your instrument or strengthen specific skills
- Get familiar with some of the camp songs
- Gain confidence before joining their band for the week.
It’s the perfect warm-up for newer musicians or tune up for more experienced players — helping campers hit the ground running on day one! These sessions are customized to the camper's needs. Many campers will participate in this optional program a month prior to camp.

WHAT TO BRING
- Campers must bring their own (NUT-FREE) snacks and water bottle labeled with their name each day.
- Please make sure your student wears clothing and footwear suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities, especially during summer camps.
- Students are expected to bring their own guitars, basses, microphones, and drum sticks for the duration of the camp. Drums and keyboards are provided by the school.
- Please note that campers may rotate through and play different instruments throughout the camp, depending on the needs of the group.
Please do NOT send your camper with distracting devices such as iPads, electronic devices, or toys. We have lots of fun activities planned for the campers and these devices will take away from their full enjoyment of the camp experience.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students are not permitted to leave the facility at ANY time on their own, and must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end of camp.
Please review the school's Code of Conduct with your child prior to the first day of camp.
A fully completed and signed waiver is required in order to attend and participate in programs at School of Rock.
After registering for camp, please sign the required waivers on the School of Rock client portal - Pike13, which you can access from your confirmation email.
PARKING / DROP OFF
Please bring your child inside rather than dropping them off at the street. A parent or guardian must be present to pick up each camper. We are unable to let students leave the building on their own at any time, or to meet you on the street.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations up to 45 days prior to the start of camp will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the start of camp. In the event that School of Rock must cancel a camp for any reason (such as not enough campers), a full refund will be provided.
