CAMP DESCRIPTION

Step into the world of heavy metal legends with Metallica Week! Campers will learn the iconic riffs, thunderous drum lines, and powerful vocals that made Metallica one of the most influential bands in rock history. Whether your teen plays guitar, bass, drums, or sings, they’ll get hands-on experience playing in a real band, building confidence, teamwork, and musicianship while having a blast. Every day combines guided instruction, full-band rehearsals, and fun practice exercises tailored to each skill level.

The week culminates in a live showcase for friends and family, where campers perform the songs they’ve mastered on stage — the ultimate reward for a week of hard work and creativity. Beyond learning music, students gain performance skills, collaboration experience, and a chance to express themselves through rock. Metallica Week isn’t just camp — it’s an unforgettable rock experience designed to challenge, inspire, and ignite a love for music that lasts long after the final encore.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

•  Camps runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm Each Day.
•  Drop off is no earlier than 15-mins before the start of the day.
•  Pick up is no later than 10 mins after the end of the day on Friday. 
•  Your child are welcome to stay longer on Monday to Thursday.
•  Each day will consist of rehearsal time, practice time and fun games/activities.

Friday Performance

On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at TBD location and will start normally around 4pm.

What to Bring?

• Campers must bring their own lunch each day
• Guitarists must bring their own guitar and/or bass
• Guitarists must bring straps, picks, extra strings, etc
• Vocalists must bring their own microphone if available (if not, we can provide one)
• Drummers must bring their own drumsticks
• Ear plugs (we have some you can purchase or use)

WHAT TO EXPECT

During Metallica Week, campers will dive into the music that made Metallica a rock legend. Expect hands-on instruction on guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, with a focus on riffs, solos, and tight band playing. Each day combines skill-building exercises, group rehearsals, and jam sessions, all culminating in a high-energy live showcase on Friday where campers perform the songs they’ve learned for friends and family. Along the way, students gain confidence, teamwork experience, and stage presence — all while having a blast rocking out to the iconic hits of Metallica.
