CAMP DESCRIPTION 

Turn up the volume and get ready to rock with Pop Punk Week! Campers will dive into the high-energy world of pop punk, learning iconic songs from bands like Green Day, Blink-182, Sum 41, and Paramore. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, or sing, you’ll get hands-on instruction, jam with your bandmates, and develop real performance skills while having an absolute blast. Every day combines practice, collaboration, and fun, giving students the chance to improve their skills in a supportive, energetic environment.

By the end of the week, campers will take the stage in a live showcase for friends and family, performing the songs they’ve learned and showing off their new confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. This is more than just a music camp — it’s a week of making new friends, discovering your inner rock star, and celebrating the fun, rebellious energy of pop punk. Perfect for beginners and returning students alike, it’s the ultimate warm-up to the flagship Green Day Camp the following week!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 10am - 3pm each day
• Drop off is no earlier than 15-mins before the start of the day.
• Pick up is no later than 10 mins after the end of the day on Friday.
• Your child are welcome to stay longer on Monday to Thursday.
• Each day will consist of rehearsal time, practice time and fun games/activities.
  
  

Friday Performance

On Friday, campers will put on a show for family and friends and perform the songs they’ve been working on all week. The show will take place at TBD location and will start normally around 4pm.

What to Bring?

• Campers must bring their own lunch each day
• Guitarists must bring their own guitar and/or bass
• Guitarists must bring straps, picks, extra strings, etc
• Vocalists must bring their own microphone if available (if not, we can provide one)
• Drummers must bring their own drumsticks
• Ear plugs (we have some you can purchase or use)

WHAT TO EXPECT

During the Pop Punk Week, campers will dive into the music that made Poa rock legend. Expect hands-on instruction on guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, with a focus on riffs, solos, During Pop Punk Power Week, campers will dive into the energetic world of pop punk, learning songs from Green Day, Blink-182, Sum 41, and Paramore. Expect hands-on instruction on guitar, bass, drums, and vocals, with a focus on catchy riffs, driving rhythms, and singable hooks. Each day combines group rehearsals, fun jam sessions, and skill-building exercises, all designed to help students play together as a band. By the end of the week, campers will perform in a live showcase for friends and family, showing off the songs they’ve mastered while gaining confidence, stage presence, and a love for performing.
