camp description
Grab your flannel shirts and come to Grunge Camp! Grunge was born in the Pacific Northwest in the 80s and defined the sound of the 90s. Campers will learn songs by bands like Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden and others. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs from the 90s, all culminating in a live performance. Great for students 8-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
- Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- On Day 1, drop off will be from 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. to collect camp paperwork and provide school tours.
- On Days 2-5, drop off will be at 8:45 to 9 a.m.
- On the last day of camp, campers will stay later when campers will put on a camp show for families.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect a fun and educational week of learning the fundamentals of music taught by our talented music instructors. Each day they will have semi-private instruction, group rehearsals and music-related games and activities. Each day, students should bring a lunch, snack, water bottle and ear protection.
