What is Soundcheck?

Soundcheck is a program for students ages 12-18 who don’t yet feel ready for our Performance Program. Either they are brand new to their instrument OR they aren’t quite ready to be on stage yet (and that’s okay!). 

How does Soundcheck work?

Students will receive a private lesson during the week as well as a 90 minute band rehearsal on Saturdays from 3:00-4:30pm. Like in Rock 101, students will start rehearsals with a mini lesson, then will learn Rock 101 songs to help build the musical foundation needed for the Performance Program. Students will also be working on completing the Rock 101 Graduation Requirements throughout their time in Soundcheck. 

Is Soundcheck Seasonal?

Soundcheck is an ongoing program. Students will remain in Soundcheck until they are ready to graduate to Performance. Since all Soundcheck students are working towards completing the graduation requirements, there are no set seasons. You can graduate from Soundcheck to Performance as soon as you complete your graduation checklist.
