Check out our programs, show themes and rehearsal and class schedule for this Fall! In addition to the rehearsal and class times below, private lessons are available Monday through Friday afternoons and evenings, and can be scheduled based on your preferred availability.

FALL PERFORMANCE THEMES & REHEARSAL TIMES
The Performance Program is School of Rock’s flagship program for students ages 10 through 18, and it combines a weekly private lesson with a weekly rehearsal. At the end of each season, we put our students on stage in a real rock venue to amaze their family and friends with an awesome rock show!

EPIC ALBUM - Mondays 5:30pm
Witness the Album “Machine Head” in all of its glory. This album, marks the transition of a band (that has one of the most played and iconic guitar riffs), from their 60's Psychedelic garage band into a hard hitting, Pre-shred classic rock band. This class has some great solos for kids who want to start getting into the shred realm. Drummers, Singers, Keyboardists, and Vocalists buckle up because this album is fast, mean, and a wild ride.
THE BEATLES – TUESDAY 5:30pm
Come and rock out to some of the best songs ever written, By four of the most fabulous musicians and songwriters ever to walk the earth… The Beatles. Every song in this show is a guaranteed bop!! (that means it’s good). Come explore music that gave singer songwriters a voice and learn how the band works along to make the songs something special. Paul’s shouting soulfulness, Johns deep lyrics, George’s super-awesome-never-off-always-amazing-guitar solos, and Ringo’s perfect drum arrangements. Songs and skills everyone can share in. From beginner to advanced, Beatles have you covered.
IRON MAIDEN vs JUDAS PRIEST- WEDNESDAY 5:30pm
This class takes a look into two iconic Heavy Metal bands as we compare and contrast their sounds and styles. Both bands beginning at relatively the same time (late 70’s / early 80’s) were pioneers, that drove rock music into a new era. The class offers the experience to play the music that birthed Heavy Metal. This Class is for rockers that want to take that next step and learn to really start ripping it up on their axes. Students will be playing through intermediate to advanced concepts and techniques for all instruments. Double kick drum patterns, Fast/Up-Tempo meters, Wild guitar solos, and soaring vocals. Hope all you bassists are practicing your triplets!
BEST OF 90’S - FRIDAY 5:30pm
The 90s were one of music’s most important decades as grunge and alternative music took over the airwaves and popular culture. Come celebrate bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer and many more in our Best of the 90s show.
ROCK 101 REHEARSAL TIMES
The Rock 101 Program pairs a weekly private lesson and a weekly rehearsal, and is designed to teach students ages 8-12 the fundamentals of playing their instrument and being in a band. Like the students in Performance, Rock 101 students also perform seasonally, as well as well as working toward graduating to the Performance Program!

ROOKIES CLASS TIMES
Rookies is a weekly 60 minute group class that gives students ages 6-7 the opportunity to learn the basics of the instruments in the band room as well as concepts like genre, song form and tempo. The goal of Rookies is educate students in basic concepts in music, building a foundation for when they’re ready to begin private lessons as part of the Rock 101 program!

LITTLE WING CLASS TIMES
Little Wing is a weekly 45 minute group class that gives students ages 4-5 the chance to encounter basic concepts in music through play, preparing them to graduate to the Rookies program and beyond with a head start!
