On May 26th, School of Rock Tucson's Adult Band took the stage at Monterey Court for their Spring 2026 End-of-Season Showcase, bringing an unforgettable night of live music, great food and drinks, and a whole lot of rock and roll!
Meet Arena 51. Why Arena 51? Well, when the music is this big, the name has to be too! The band brought their arena rock theme to life with a 30-minute set that kept the energy high from start to finish.
For those who haven't experienced the Adult Program yet, here's the short version: School of Rock Tucson's Adult Program is designed for students 18 and older, whether you're looking to sharpen your musical skills or pick up an instrument for the very first time. Through weekly private lessons and group rehearsals, students are placed in a band with fellow adult musicians and work toward performing real songs on a real stage in Tucson. It's performance-based music education, and moments like May 26th are exactly what it's all about.
The night didn't stop with Arena 51. As the evening wrapped up, the crowd was treated to a closing performance by Landlocks, the band of our very own instructor Wolfgang. It was a perfect ending to a perfect night and a reminder that the music community at School of Rock Tucson runs deep, from students to staff.
