CAMP DESCRITPION
Green Day was one of the most popular and influential bands of the 90s and early 2000s. Their fun, high-energy music helped bring punk into the mainstream. Throughout this 5-day music camp, we’ll explore hits from some of their most popular albums, such as “Dookie,” “Warning,” “Insomniac,” “American Idiot” and beyond. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 10-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction on the instrument they intend to play at camp.
Weekly Schedule
- Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 9am - 3pm, then 9am - 4pm on Friday, when campers will be performing here at the School
- Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
- On Friday, campers will perform the songs they've been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, and water.
MY DAUGHTER REALLY CAME OUT OF HER SHELL AT SCHOOL OF ROCK CAMP. HER GUITAR PLAYING IMPROVED A LOT AND NOW SHE CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. SHE MADE FRIENDS AND WANTS TO ENROLL IN THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM THIS FALL. GREAT JOB! - ANNE S.
