CAMP DESCRIPTION

Through this special songwriting camp, students will explore the art of creating original music, and will learn how to write their own songs. Inspired by timeless melodies and innovative compositions, participants will learn the fundamentals of songwriting, including chord progression, arrangements, and creative techniques. From Monday through Friday, participants will immerse themselves in songwriting sessions, leading to a final live performance to showcase their newly honed skills. This camp is great for students 11-18 who have had some prior musical instruction.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:00pm each day
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on during the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational 5 days of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks.

cancellation policy
