CAMP DESCRIPTION

In this exciting 5 day camp, students will bridge the gap between Hard Rock and Heavy Metal by learning and performing songs by iconic artists such as Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, and more. The Hard Rock vs. Heavy Metal camp will explore the thematic and technical elements of both sub-genres, so that students will not only come away knowing what defines each genre, but how one led into the other. Monday through Friday will be spent learning and rehearsing songs culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students 8-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction, and beginners are welcome as well.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 3:30pm each day
• Each day will consist of rehearsals, practice time & fun music-based games & activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water and hearing protection.

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% refund will be offered on cancelled camps up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
