Grunge Camp

Camp Description

The Grunge camp will feature the pioneers of the grunge era with a heavy focus on bands like Nirvanna, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden who brought the alternative genre to the mainstream. Campers will dive into the history of grunge music and learn about the gritty and dynamic sounds of the 90’s. At the end of the week, students will put on a live performance. Great for students 12-18 years old who have had some previous instruction.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

• Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 4pm each day
• Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
• On Friday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring lunch, snacks, water, and hearing protection.

At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks. We also prohibit any toy or real weapons from being brought to camp.
