On Saturday, June 27th, The School of Rock York House Band participated in the Shrewsbury Parade! Along with having a float in the parade, the band played live rock music. Their hard work paid off when the House Band took home the 1st Place Performer AND Best Appearing Entry trophies!

The band played a four song set list including songs by ACDC, Fall Out Boy, Seether, and Modest Mouse.

School of Rock York is a performance-focused music school that offers programs in guitar, bass guitar, keys, drums and singing. The School of Rock York House Band includes talented young music students ages 11 to 18. This audition-based band gives music students the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at PA rock venues throughout the year.
