School of Rock was identified by Franchise Business Review as one of just 50 franchise brands to be named an award-winning franchise in its 2026 report on the Most Innovative Franchises.
To identify the companies on the list of this year’s Most Innovative Franchises, Franchise Business Review analyzed 18 months’ worth of data from over 29,000 franchisees representing more than 330 brands. Franchise owners were asked about their brand’s innovation and creativity as well as their trust in the franchisor, overall satisfaction with the brand, and likelihood to recommend it to others.
Innovation comes directly from our franchisees and their teams
School of Rock franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training & support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations, and financial opportunity.
School of Rock Chief Innovation Officer Sam Dresser said, "I always say that my job is easy, because innovation doesn't come from me or my department, it comes from our franchisees and their incredible teams. At School of Rock, we'er commited to discovering and creating innovative ideas with the goal of bringing them to life to benefit the entire community."
Franchise Business Review, a research firm that conducts independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only ratings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes its rankings of top franchises as well as industry reports throughout the year that highlight research on the top franchises in specific sectors.
"Franchises don't succeed by standing still," said Michelle Rowan, President of Franchise Business Review. "The brands that keep evolving, whether it's new products, smarter systems, or better tools for their franchisees, are the ones building something that lasts. This award recognizes that kind of forward motion."
