Franklin School of Rock Wins National Competition

Teenagers often dream of becoming rock stars, playing on big stages in front of thousands of adoring fans.

A group of teenagers from Franklin already know the feeling.

Unsolicited Feedback, the house band from School of Rock-Franklin, headed to Milwaukee in late June to compete in GEMBA, the annual School of Rock competition held as a part of the Summerfest music festival in Milwaukee.

Out of the 59 Bands from 31 states that competed, comprised of nearly 500 School of Rock students from around the country, Franklin’s Unsolicited Feedback won the whole thing.

“We were crying,” said Angie McCreight, owner of School of Rock-Franklin. “They were incredible. We couldn’t have been more proud.”
