In this special 5-day camp, students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years and learn how to write their own songs.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Through this special 5-day songwriting camp, students will learn how to write their own songs. Students will analyze some of the greatest compositions of the last 60 years in order to develop their own tunes. They will learn about chord progressions, arrangements and other tricks of the trade. We’ll spend Monday through Friday learning and writing songs, all culminating in students producing and publishing their songs. Great for students 10-18 years of age who have had previous instruction.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Camps usually have between 5 and 15 students and one or two instructors. Come ready to rock at 9:00 am each day. Make sure to pack a lunch and bring something to drink.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The health and safety of our students is our top priority. If you or School of Rock needs to cancel a Summer Camp, for any reason, you will be presented with options including a full refund up to 15 days prior to the camp start date. Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for a refund.
