Cape Town gets its very own School of Rock Cape Town - The world renowned School of Rock music school brand is coming to South Africa, with the first school opening in Claremont on 9 May 2015. Offering an assortment of exciting musical classes the Claremont branch will be the first School of Rock to be opened in Africa. Spearheaded by brother and sister team, Keith Taeuber and Leigh Spaun and three years in the making; this unique music school will offer a host of programmes for beginners to seasoned music lovers. The school will cater for all ages from pre-schoolers to both primary and high school kids as well as young graduates and adults, keen on releasing their inner rock star. School of Rock offers performance-based programme's that incorporate private lessons with a group rehearsal element. School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, keys, vocals, brass and drums using their philosophy - that the stage is the greatest teacher! When you join School of Rock, you will come to know it well, and you will learn more about music than you ever dreamed possible. You will play the songs you love, work with incredible instructors, and be part of a community of musicians that support each other’s creativity. You will be inspired at every level in your journey to become a great musician, and you won't be alone.
