In this camp, 6-8 year old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation

Rookies Rock camp is a great start to your child's musical journey!  Kids age 6-8 learn the fundamentals of music (rhythm, tempo, pitch and dynamics) through classic rock music!  They also get to explore ALL of the rock instruments:  guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and singing!  All instruments are scaled to their size!  Other fun musical activities fill this is half day camp and on the last day students are ready to perform their own live mini-rock show for parents during the last 15 minutes of class.  School of Rock offers a regular ongoing Rookies program if students wish to continue their musical journey and enroll in the fall.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Be ready to rock from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Please pack a lunch and water bottle for camp days. Lunch will be eaten outdoors at noon daily.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. If School of Rock needs to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund or credit will be issued. If you need to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund or credit will be issued for camps cancelled up to 15 days prior to the camp start date.
