School of Rock student singing National Anthem at XFL game

School of Rock Brings Young Musicians to XFL Gameday

School of Rock, the leader in performance-based music education has scored a touchdown with its newest partnership with the XFL. School of Rock students will help provide family-friendly live music performances at XFL pre-game tailgates and also sing the national anthem at many of the league’s games this season.

“At School of Rock, we know one of the best tools in music education is live performance and a taste for what it’s like as a gigging professional musician,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “This partnership with the XFL is the perfect opportunity for our students to gain experience on real stages and interact with large crowds of passionate fans.”

The XFL is a brand new, fan-first league that’s reimagining the game of football and offering fans an opportunity to experience more action, access and fun. The league is playing a 10-week regular season and a two-week post season culminating with the Championship on April 26. All games are televised nationally across its broadcast partners ABC/ESPN and FOX. The league’s ticket prices are affordable and family-friendly and a family of four can sit in the lower bowl for a hundred dollars or less in every market. The eight teams are also active participants in their local communities, developing local partnerships that make a difference.

“School Of Rock students are gifted young musicians and in each of our markets they are helping us create a fun game day experience,” said Jeffrey Pollack, President & COO of the XFL. “This partnership is another part of our music and entertainment strategy and we love the energy these young people bring to the XFL.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging learning environment for taking guitar lessons, drum lessons, bass lessons, keyboard lessons, and singing lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Frank Zappa. Thanks to the school's performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior instrumental skills and confidence on the big stage, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.
