The leader in performance-based music education is enhancing its proprietary curriculum to feature more music created by Black artists. The goal is to further educate students on the Black community’s history and central contributions to the development of Rock and Roll.

Our Winter Spring Season will be kicking off the week of 1/20/20 and we will be running 4 Performance Rehearsals( ages 11-18) and 5 Rock 101 groups (ages 8-12). School of Rock, in collaboration with Artist Partner Group, has chosen its top 20 finalists for the Center Stage program.

Our Summer Season is underway! Spots are filling up quickly for our exciting new Show Themes. This season will run until the shows the week of September 22nd. Performance is for ages 12-18 and Rock 101 is for ages 8-11 years old.

Together, School of Rock Arlington Heights and The Center in Itaska, IL will host a series of 5 sessions throughout April and May for rockers 4 & 5 years old. Little Wing is an innovative rock-based music education program for children ages 4 & 5 years old. We provide a starting place for band practice and prepare young musicians for a lifetime of study with the School of Rock. This is an interactive music class that incorporates movement and games to teach Music. Little Wing combines the power of modern music (yes, what you listen to on the radio) with the science of early child education. The program was designed by several leading experts in cognitive and social development. Packaged in a fun environment, students quickly improve auditory skills, cognitive ability, and self confidence.

School of Rock and sheet music leader Hal Leonard have partnered to make sheet music more accessible to their music students.

To celebrate the release of the "School of Rock: The Musical" deluxe edition soundtrack, YouTube stars did a mashup of the musical's songs. The video is filmed at a School of Rock location.

School of Rock students from across the world have integrated the music of Queen into their curriculum in partnership with Fox and "Bohemian Rhapsody."
