Guitar Teacher Mark Sipple

Mark Sipple Guitar Teacher

Mark is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in South Florida. He is active in the local music scene and currently provides vocals and guitar in the Rock band, Solar Reef.

Mark’s first steps into the world of playing music began at the age of 10 with a guitar lesson which, quite frankly, completely turned him away from the instrument. However, this moment would come to serve as the cornerstone for his ethos in the way of teaching years later. Mark learned the importance of honing into the particular interests of each student, and using those interests to explore the endless possibilities and techniques in the art form.

Mark began playing trombone in his middle school band and continued to do so through his first year at university. Whether it be concert band, jazz band, or marching band, the variety of composition, the understanding of one’s role in the big picture, and the camaraderie of it left him captivated.

Despite the rough first impression, Mark picked up the guitar again at 14, diving headfirst into Rock, Metal, Funk, Blues, and more. He attended Florida Atlantic University majoring in Commercial Music, where he further honed his insights and his instincts.
