Creedence Clearwater Revival is one of those bands that you can’t help but crack a smile while listening to. A staple of classic rock radio, their music has transcended generations and remains just as powerful today as it was back in the late ’60s and early ’70s. Inspired by the roots rock of the mid to late ’50s, CCR would release a string of hits within a short 4-year period from 1968-1972, including “Proud Mary”, “Bad Moon Rising”, “Fortunate Son”, and “Down on the Corner.” There are few shows School of Rock offers that are as purely educational as this one. Every song is a master class on rhythm section groove, economical lead guitar, and vocal expressiveness.
The Performance Program is the flagship program at School of Rock. Students prepare and rehearse through weekly lessons and group rehearsals getting ready for the big end-of-season show at real rock venues.
