In this 4-day camp, 5-7 year old beginners will learn about different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and appreciation.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this 4-day introduction to music. In this music camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This camp is designed for 5 to 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This four-day camp runs Monday through Thursday with a performance at the end of the last day.

WEEKLY SCHEDULE

Camp runs Monday - Thursday,  9am - 12pm each day
Each day consists of rehearsals, practice time and fun music-based games and activities
On Thursday, campers will play and perform the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students will be asked to bring snacks, water, and hearing protection.
At School of Rock, we are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To help us maintain this space, we ask parents to avoid packing any nut products in lunches or snacks.
